Irish Blessing

An Irish Blessing
with snapshots from Kansas

May the road rise up to meet you.

May the wind always be at your back.

May the sun shine warm upon your face.

The rains fall soft upon your fields.

And until we meet again

May God hold you in the palm of His hand.

Happy St. Patrick's Day!
Don't forget to wear your green tomorrow!
Happy Weekend, friends!

  1. Kim, Seeing the photo of the dogs I am just wondering if you ever found out what happened to them. Great Photos. Mary Jane Hawver McEntire

    1. Unfortunately, no: We didn't find the dogs. So, I was a little sad as I used that photo, but I thought it illustrated that line of the blessing. Ralph and Millie were blessings to me. Thanks for asking and taking time to comment!

  2. Hi Kim. Just found your blog on Urbanspoon website link. Great pictures and i love this poem. Mom and I used it for dad's funeral...Course with a last name of O'Leary, we tend to favor Irish Sayings!

    1. So glad to have you stop by the blog. And it sounds like a perfect tribute to your Dad. My best to you and yours.
